| Details | No Sugar, No Glucose Added. Beautiful can, but rolled from flat sheet. The blue patents applied for variation should have been a toothed seam and gold varnished cone. From Chuck Starrett, the seam confirms that the toothed cans used more metal. Look at how wide the left seam is compared to the right seam. If the can had been done on a canning machine both edges of the seam would have been cut with the tooth pattern and then welded. Whoever rolled this just trimmed one edge of the flat sheet to roll the can. That is why the seam is off center. |
