Cost / Price Report

While easy to generate, I deferred creation of such a report since wasn’t really sure I wanted to know how many $$$ I have put into my actual cans, not including the numerous plane travel, hotels, and show registrations. Most of those later costs are harder to quantify but well worth visiting with other collecting friends.

CanDB version 2.0 introduced a basic summary report. Use the menu item “Tools -> Cost to Price Report” and CanDB will generate a simple HTML web page and display in popup browser window. Two notes regarding this HTML page. One, this is NOT included with the generated table of contents or other HTML files. This information is private to given CanDB user and not something which should ever accidentally be shared with anyone. Two, there is no Print option for this page. If there is insistence on this I may add one, but I would much prefer things kept digital instead of wasting paper. The generated file name is displayed at top of the window and can always be opened/printed using any web browser.
