Paper label prototype. Wrapped around unknown 12oz pull tab. - Can manufacturer sticker on the bottom, giving insight into the process from design to real printed. Remember, 1971 was pre-computer days and much more costly to iterate.
- The prototype is from American Can Company, 1971. All other Geyer's cans are from Crown Cork and Seal.
- The date of this prototype is 1971, with only real Geyer's can actually filled (black/white Bavarian Light beer) not coming until 1973. Note how radically from the can designs that actually made it to production
